A saddle sits on a living, feeling body. That's why biomechanics alone isn't enough for us – and gut feeling alone certainly isn't. We combine both.
You can scan a back and calculate a saddle position. But whether a horse lets go, breathes out and feels at ease – no chart will tell you. Equiveron was founded by someone who has spent her whole life around horses and saddles – today as a saddle fitter and rehab trainer for horses others had long given up on. And she is still right at the heart of every Equiveron development – from the first idea to the finished saddle.
Science
What we can measure and prove.
We look at how the horse moves, not just how it stands. Shoulder, back and loins need freedom.
A precise scan of the back instead of guesswork. Changes can be compared over months and years.
Saddle and bit belong together. What bothers the mouth often shows in the back.
Muscle isn't built by training alone. Nutrition advice and haematological analysis are part of the full picture.
Spirit
What only feel can capture.
Subtle manual work that releases tension and shows where the body is holding on.
A horse shows very clearly whether something fits – if you know what to look for.
Supporting methods we know and can put into context – so we better understand what a horse needs right now.
Science and spirit set the direction. The building is teamwork: in production we work with saddlers, master saddlers and experts in the craft – each bringing their knowledge where it makes the biggest difference for the horse.
They turn an idea into leather, stitching and shape – and tell us honestly when something only works on paper.
Our perspective starts on the horse's back. If it doesn't fit there, it doesn't get built.
Anyone who knows better gets a seat at the table. We listen, we test – and only then do we build.
We look at the body first, then at the saddle. Never the other way round.

Horses of every breed and level live on our yard in Hungary – with riders just as varied. Many of them are special cases, with a medical history or challenging behaviour. Here we don't just gain fitting experience. Every day we test what a saddle can achieve – and where its limits are.
